After I unpacked I was off to dream land in Barb's guest bed that was just my size!
After my rest I took a ride in Barb's friend, Norma's new car. It was fun to be included on a girls day out!
We visited a new shop in the area. It was so full of cute things that it is a little hard to see me. I had a very nice chat with that cute elephant.
It was fun meet their family dog, coco. She kept trying to pick me up with her MOUTH. As you can see she has my foot pinned. She looks sweet, but she is a danger to rabbits and all our visits were supervised!
Barb arranged a date with the British Bunny she recently won from her friend Thimbleanna. We had a lovely time, but I'm not interested in a long distance relationship at this point in my world tour.
I was so looking forward to meeting the tricker treaters on Halloween, when suddenly the Hurricane Sandy hit the area!
It was scarey and windy and we lost power for 7 days at Barbs house!
We made the best of things. Here we are having a girl to girl chat while Barb basted a border for her Jubilee Quilt.
I had a great time with Barb and I'll keep up on her doings through her blog: Fun With Barb.
Barb surprised me with this little pink polkadot suitcase for some of my things. It is just the right size for my hats and scarfs.
Check back soon for my next adventure in Maine.

Lucy Rabbit
This is adorable. I had not heard about Lucy before and will be following her adventure! I went back and read all of the former posts. Such a cute idea.
ReplyDeletePerhaps she could swing by Minnesota....

Hi Judy
DeleteI'd love to visit Minnesota! Do you have a lot of snow there? I have many scarfs for cold weather travel :)
xx
Lucy
Wow, Lucy, I am glad Barb kept you safe from Sandy and the dog child! That could have been very scary. We got lots of snow here in WV from Sandy. You would have needed to wear all of your woolens if you had been visiting with me now...so, glad I had you in the summer. Have fun in Maine. I've always wanted to go there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna - we had a lovely time despite the storm.

Lucy you are really having a lovely adventure. 7 days without power, lucky Barb taught you to hand sew ( I can see you stroking that beautiful quilt). It must have been very scary waiting for Sandy to arrive! How lovely was your bedroom I bet you slept like a log under that gorgeous quilt. I love your new polka dot suitcase too. Safe travels to Maine xx
ReplyDeleteHi Bea

Lucy, How lucky you are to visit Barb!! You looked so cosy in the little guest bed. Fancy being there when Sandy hit, that would have been quite an experience! I love your new little suitcase, it's perfect for all your things!
ReplyDeleteHi Rachael!
