I arrived in LUBBOCK, TEXAS, in May of 2012 and may I just say.....
I LOVE TEXAS.
The first thing I did was move my adorable SUNGLASSES so I could read up on all the news...

Here I am getting a little of that TEXAS SUN...
Boy, it sure is hot out here on the Plains of West Texas.
The first few days, this lady, bj, was really nice to me.
She let me just hang out while SHE did all the work in the garden.
"Why, thank you, Lucy Rabbit".
THEN, all at once, things began to change...
she asked MOI to give a helping hand to this pretty little garden.
MOI...?...the INFAMOUS WORLD TRAVELING LUCY RABBIT,
WORK ?
Manual labor ?
And, maybe she doesn't know it yet but RABBITS get HOTTER than humans....
Then she told me....
"OK, Lucy....you can take a swim and cool off."
YAY...a swim....I was EXCITED...
I'll just sit, poolside, if you don't mind.
It was just about this time, after being
out in the TEXAS sun for awhile, that I knew I would have to take off my cutie-pie
TOBOGGAN CAP.
Gosh, it was waaay too hot to wear in Texas in the
summertime...
I sure am glad to have it tho....come winter, I am not sure just WHERE I'll be and it just might be COLD.
Boy, that toboggan sure will feel good then.
I am getting all packed for my trip to a far away place.
I have my PASSPORT in order and
will leave TEXAS behind soon.
I have enjoyed myself....and the work...?...well,
I've always heard that WORKING makes a better person rabbit of you,
and bj DID feed me well....
....and she gave me the CA UTEST PINK BOW for my .....hair....
