Lucy Rabbit Visits South Africa!
It has been lovely having Lucy visit us here at Natural Suburbia in South Africa! She sat in the veggie garden with us the day we planted all of our heirloom veggie seeds. It was a special day, our seeds are all growing now and our garden will soon be brimming with produce:)
Lucy also sat on top of the bread bin in the kitchen and and kept me company when I made our first batch of Spring Mulberry jam.
We have loved having Lucy visit, her passport has been signed and stamped from South Africa and she is on her way to the United States to visit with lovely Kristen. I have added a few treasures for you Kristen, I didn't take photos as I wanted them to be a surprise:)
Thank you so much Rachel, you sent us some beautiful books, I really appreciate your kindness:)
Have a wonderful trip Lucy!
Love
Linda and Family

Hi Lucy! It looks like you're having fun in the sun! I bet the mulberry jam was delicious!!
ReplyDeleteLucky Lucy. Looks like you're still having lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda and family for having Lucy to stay at your house. I know who I am going to ask to help make our mulberry jam next year if any get left behind by the boys! Your Veggie garden is looking delicious, I hope you checked to make sure someone didn't eat all the carrots :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Lucy is having a great time! What fun to have help making jam. Don't know that I'll ever make it to South Africa .. hooray for Lucy!
ReplyDeleteWow off the US...enjoy your trip Miss Lucy :)
ReplyDeleteLucy is one lucky lady........... All these exciting places she has visited and all the people she is meeting. Mulberry trees are few and far between here and I envy her making jam.
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! What a lovely part of the world to visit. I dream of one day going to Africa too.
ReplyDeleteLucy spoke VERY highly of you and your family, Linda. And I told her just how envious I was that she'd been able to sit in your kitchen and chat the way she did. I got the package - and loved, loved, loved the beautiful things you sent. I will bury my face in them and see if I can smell South Africa.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a lovely adventure you had in South Africa!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky bunny! She's probably more travelled than all of us ;o)
